Terms & Conditions

There are no further changes to the Terms and Conditions below due to coronavirus (COVID-19).

I always adhere to the highest standards of hygiene, both personally and in terms of the makeup and hairstyling tools I use, but if you would like any further information on my exact hygiene procedures please let me know and I will be happy to provide them.

DEFINITIONS
The Client: The recipient of the service
The Company: Carter Hair & Makeup
The Agreement: The agreement between the Client and the Company, confirmed by email, for provision of the service
The Fee: The amount payable by the Client to the Company for the service in the Agreement
The Artist: Holly Carter

BOOKING
Bookings are either secured by receipt of a 25% booking fee, the amount of which varies on the service and can be found on the appropriate webpage for the service, or by paying the full price for the service via the appropriate webpage. Receipt of a booking fee or full payment confirms the Agreement and secures The Company’s service on the agreed date and time for the agreed Fee.
Booking fees are deducted from the final fee due. Enquiries for which neither a booking fee nor full payment have been paid are not confirmed and therefore provision of the service cannot be guaranteed, and an Agreement is not formally in place.
Booking fees are non-refundable and full payments are non-refundable if a cancellation is received less than 12 weeks before the service is due to commence.

Cancellations of bookings are only deemed valid if received via email to carterhairandmakeup@gmail.com
The Fee is always either agreed via email or stated on the appropriate webpage. Verbal agreements are not offered as they are not deemed valid by The Company.

The Company reserves the right to cancel special offers and rates at any time, with the exception of where an emailed Agreement is already in place with the Client.

PAYMENT
Invoices for booking fees or service fees are sent from the Company to the Client via email as soon as possible after a booking has been confirmed via email.

1 week after completing the trial, 50% of the final balance is due.
Invoices for the final balance of the Fee are sent from the Company to the Client up to 4 weeks before the start date of the service, unless the service is in less than 4 weeks’ time in which case it will be sent immediately after the booking has been confirmed via email.
Full payment of the balance of the Fee is required 1 week before the service at the latest, if the service is less than 4 weeks away, full payment is required to secure the booking.
Payment is accepted via bank transfer.

For booking fee payments, the booking is only confirmed once the bank transfer has cleared in the Company’s bank account.
