If you saw my last blog about how to determine your undertone? Then this next bit is super exciting and really easy to follow! It's all about choosing makeup colours for different undertones. (If you haven't read it, you must, check it out here)
So once you've worked out your undertone, follow these guides below for different products...
For cool undertones:
Foundation: Look for shades with a pink, red, or a blue base.
Blush: Soft pinks, rose, and cool mauves are flattering.
Eyeshadow: Opt for cool tones like blues, greys, purples, and cool browns.
Lipstick: Choose shades like berry, plum, cherry red, and cool pinks.
For warm undertones:
Foundation: Look for shades with a yellow, golden, or peach base.
Blush: Warm peaches, corals, and bronze shades work well.
Eyeshadow: Go for warm tones like gold, copper, bronze, and warm browns.
Lipstick: Select colours like coral, peach, orange-red, and warm nudes.
For neutral undertones:
Foundation: Neutral shades that are not too yellow or pink are ideal.
Blush: Almost any shade will suit you, but try soft pinks, peaches, and mauves.
Eyeshadow: Neutral tones like taupe, beige, and brown are flattering, as well as a mix of cool and warm shades.
Lipstick: You have the flexibility to experiment with both cool and warm shades, so try anything from pinks to peaches to red.
I hope this helps you find the perfect colours to complement your undertone. If you'd like a more in depth and personalised help with a makeup look and what products to use, you can book a 1-2-1 lesson with me here!Â
